Fishing And Boating

City permits acquired from the City Of Mountain Park are required for fishing and boating in the city owned lakes. There has been too much trash and vandalism and a greater effort is being made to control it this year. Boating and fishing is welcome but city codes should be respected to avoid receiving a ticket and to do the right thing. To maintain fish in the lake, catch using artificial lures only, and release rules are in place. Permits are available at City Hall or on line at
