Regarding the "Lake Litigation" hearing on June 18, 2007 the editor wrote that if she remembered correctly from answers in the first public tax hearings that we would have our day in court in January 2008. For some reason I remembered December 2007.
I wasn't at the hearings but I had intentions to pursue the answer in December so that may be why I stated December 2007 instead of January 2008.
Does anyone know if the editor recalled the answer correctly? If so will the hearing still be in January 2008? This is not directed at the editor if there was a mistake especially since I made a mistake with the date myself. If the editor remembered correctly is another matter and the hearing still should be in January 2008, because there has been no information to the contrary.
If it was a mistake does anyone know when the hearing is scheduled

Varmint,
I have heard a number of additional references to the lakes litigation beginning in January but will ask at city hall and post when I receive an answer.

Varmint,
A call to City Hall did not result in an answer. The City Clerk did not know when the litigation will begin. I will ask the Lakes Chair tonight at the special called council meeting.

Varmint,
Chair Johnson of the Lakes Committee says the litigation pre-trial hearings will begin in January, probably mid month.

Let's say that we at least have a tentative date, knowing how the legal system works. I appreciate you going to the trouble. I hope others are as interested in it as I am.
